BUT....I am so delighted you popped over to visit my little space here. Don't give up on your book--keep working at it! The Lord placed the vision and mission in your heart for HIS reason and in His perfect timing it will all work out! He is never late....but always RIGHT ON TIME! Hang tight girlfriend....I just got a "reject letter" for one of my book proposals--and that was a BUMMER--but the UPSIDE is the letter deatiled my work so I am very HAPPY the aquisitions editor READ it!! THAT IS A GOOD THING. Rejection moves me another step closer to the BIG "YES!" My book may not be for his particular company but I will not give UP and keep striving forward. I stand in agreement with you--I can do very little on my own but with HIM...all things are possible!! You DO know that you came by my blog tonight specifically so I could get here to read THIS? God spoke a word tonight to me through these words. It is said that we can learn the MOST out of our failure paintings, moreso than the successful ones ! I'm trying to gleen the positives from my mistakes, & with practice, practice, practice, striving to become a better artist. We learn to constantly monitor our colors & shades & intent to editorialize what we want the viewer to see. Eventually, the "failures" turn into successes in future paintings....... then it can be said "I failed well" .....if I don't give up ! It all comes together for a beautiful work of art. In that light, God will work His "Masterpiece" in each of us....over time, a beautiful work of art ! This is a valuable lesson I am learning from my art class.
